About Montgomery Hills

The Montgomery Hills corridor on Georgia Avenue in Montgomery County, Maryland, is the gateway to downtown Silver Spring, from the I-495 Georgia Avenue interchange south to Spring Street. It encompasses established neighborhoods on both sides of Georgia Avenue, with many houses dating from the late 19th and early 20th Centuries, and a business corridor lining Georgia Avenue comprised of retail and commercial establishments.

Open Doors: Exploring the Homes of Historic North Woodside – Tickets on sale now!

The North Woodside neighborhood in Montgomery Hills is hosting a historic house tour on September 26th, from 1pm to 5pm. Attendees can explore a variety of historic homes and support a native landscaping project. Tickets are $30 in advance, and profits will also benefit the Linden-Lyttonsville Museum. From 3-7 PM, children can enjoy music, games, face painting, meet first responders, and participate in fun activities like a bounce castle and cake winning.
