One of our great historic Montgomery Hills neighborhoods, North Woodside, is holding a historic house tour on Saturday, September 26th, from 1pm to 5pm. This is a great opportunity to experience one of our neighborhoods and support a native landscaping project and the Linden-Lyttonsville Musem. Details below!
The North Woodside Citizens’ Association invites you to tour a diverse array of historic homes in our neighborhood, located just a mile from downtown Silver Spring. Established in the 1890s along Grace Church Road and expanded through the early 20th century, North Woodside offers a living gallery of local architecture from late Victorian homes to bungalows, Tudors, and Colonials to mid-century cottages. House tour booklets will highlight historical information about the featured homes and neighborhood. Profits from the tour will support a community native landscaping project and the Linden-Lyttonsville Museum.
