“The Gateway to Silver Spring”

The Montgomery Hills corridor on Georgia Avenue in Montgomery County, Maryland, is the gateway to downtown Silver Spring, from the I-495 Georgia Avenue interchange south to Spring Street. It encompasses established neighborhoods on both sides of Georgia Avenue, with many houses dating from the late 19th and early 20th Centuries, and a business corridor lining Georgia Avenue comprised of retail and commercial establishments.
